Why Princeton Mortgage Exists.

From time to time I think it’s important to reflect on the single most important question facing any new company… why do we (or I for that matter) exist? We set out on this journey to create a new type of lending experience for our customers and to create a new type of working environment for our employees. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong… it’s not that easy. There’s a lot of hard work involved in building something special and new… there is also a lot of risk in it too, but honestly that’s the fun of it. And, if you fail it’s because you didn’t stick to your core principles or your basic set of guidelines… why are we here? What are we trying to create? If you’re getting lost in the heavy lifting involved in building and creating… return your focus to the reason you set out on this course in the first place and ask yourself that simple question. Why?

I want to send a huge thank you over to our CEO, Rich Weidel, for always realigning our focus and helping create today’s post!

Talk to you soon,

MJ

Good Morning,

At Princeton Mortgage, we believe in making the most of life by helping our customers and our team succeed. We strive to meet the needs and desires of our customers and to make this a place where people work for what they want, not what we want – a place where people can discover and pursue their potential.

We foster an environment where motivated people can thrive by satisfying the basic human needs for achievement, a sense of belonging, recognition, self-esteem, a feeling of control over one’s life, and the ability to live up to one’s ideals.

We believe in having a growth mindset, continuous improvement, building meaningful relationships through meaningful work, seeking truth, being candid, radical transparency, doing what we say we’re going to do, identifying and not tolerating problems, and making the best decisions we can. We don’t want to wake up one day and wish we had a redo.

Best,

RW
